Should be in major Linux distributions (but the distro versions may be version-old).
I *did* try MfgTool on Wine a few days ago. It ran, but no USB ports found. Winehq says No USB support in wine other than USB com ports. Does that make the latency zero, or infinite? Not sure...

There was talk at winehq of hiring a professional developer to add windows USB driver support to wine, but it appears that nothing ever came of it...

@hawhill, are there patches? I did not find any...
