PROBLEM SOLVED

This update seems to have bricked my Vox.

The unit restarted as advertised but the touch screen is inoperable as are the soft keys at the bottom of the unit. I therefore cannot open it up nor can I shut it off.

Pushing the power button quickly makes the unit sleep or wakes it up but on wakeup, same thing, no touchee, no feelee.

I am perplexed. Anyone have a similar experience or perhaps a solution other than a reset?

OK: Fixed, If you are patient, (not my best thing), and hold down the power button for 10 seconds or so, the unit will power down completely. On restart, everything seems just fine. Sorry for the panic, but perhaps it will help someone else.
