Well, if I'm going to throw these bones for you to gnaw on, the least I can do is follow-up and try to help out where I can.
I'm happy to report that it seems to be working perfectly now.
Naturally, I had to go acquire a few more books to do a proper test - I can't do a sync "just because".
Luckily for you, I'm out of additional ideas for hybrid plugins at the moment.
