This 1927 novel tells of the theft of some of the Crown Jewels from the Tower of London, and throws in for good measure a dash of "white slavery", a master criminal, and the near-inevitable mystery heiress. It also shows that Edgar Wallace didn't know an awful lot about flying planes. In this novel, as in many others, he has his pilot switch off the engine before landing!
This is taken from a Gutenberg edition, with numerous OCR errors corrected, a couple of curious bowdlerisms removed (the Bloody Tower shown as the B----y Tower!), a table of contents added, and then paragraphed and formatted to conform to a 1951 Hardback edition.
