Thanks rupor. I was trying to follow what was posted in a previous post.

So, if I got it right the procedure should be something like this:

1. I download rupor-rescue.7z
2. I extract this to an empty SD card and put it in the PRS-T1
3. I boot with HOME and MENU pressed
4. When opening book finishes I connect the USB cable to the computer
5. Check for serial port somehow (not sure how yet)
6. Run putty to gain access
7. DD the 1.8GB partition

Could you confirm, please?
