Where does it say that? Looking at calibre 0.9.32 it says "Connected Kobo Touch". But, I seem to remember it was phrased differently before.

In any case, the device model display is just that, a display. In fact, before the Aura HD came out, the driver always said "Kobo Touch". There are some places where "Kobo Touch/Glo/Mini/Aura HD" will be used, as that is the generic model name used.

Whatever is displayed, there should be no problems. If this message is displayed, then the correct driver has been loaded and all the function should work correctly. The driver makes decisions based on the firmware and database version on the device. The displayed model name is the only time it differentiates based on the device id.
