Probably one additional factor to consider is the clarity of the font that comes with the improves resolution, and the lighting, at least when you come from an older reader like the 650.
I switched from a T1 with the coolreader app and all it font improvement options turned on to the GLO.
Because of the better clarity/readability I started to use smaller font sizes then before.
Probably won't matter for Paperwhite or Glo owners.
