No, Slite is fabricating references to Apple out of whole cloth.

Erm, what is "stupid" about working with Adobe? Their products are commonly used by the publishing industry (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, PDF). Air is cross-platform, and the publishers are working with Adobe to make it work better on mobile devices.

Spend about 10 seconds with an Adobe Air app, and you'll see how Air is not "another ebook format."
