Try to get your hands one, load a pdf screenplay and give it a try.
I think you'll find reading a letter-sized, format-preserved page squished down to a six inch screen, or scrolling around on one, to be a painful and unpleasant experience that will make you yearn for your LCD.
Consider a Kindle DX or other large screen eink reader.
