I decided not to. I take really good care of ALL my electronic devices and about the only time I will get a warranty like this is if the type of device is prone to failure (such as printers) or if it's really expensive. For me, the Kindle 2 is not in either category. On the other hand, if it were for my husband or daughter, well then......
