I'd rather have the higher resolution B&W 8" screen with the front light then the Triton layer lowering the resolution, giving us washed out colors with glare and decreasing the contrast. eInk color is going to raise the price for something we (the royal we) don't actually want.

If I could get a Jetbook Color without the Triton layer, with a font light screen, and firmware not done by Ectaco, it could be a good device.
