Yes, this will change the title WITHIN the post's thread. However, the title as it appears in the level above i.e. Content forum listing, will remain unchanged.
So basically, the former (the title inside the thread) can be changed by the author whereas the latter (title in the Content forum listing) can only be changed by a Moderator/Wizard!
Just private message one of the Moderators and they can make that change for you.
