To revive an old thread, a slightly later thread and posting than yours (
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...=Lattimore%27s) points to a means to download Lattimore's Iliad for study purposes, which I am currently working with. But you are perhaps already aware of this, as you seem to be impressively aware of just about everything else in these matters.
