Je re teste ça, mais je doute que ça vienne du nombre d'entrée/taille du bestiau.

Le dico de base (Oxford US) fait 21Mo, avec facilement >100k entrées, et le lookup est quasi-instantané (j'dirais 500ms de délai dans le pire des cas)... .
