I have a similar problem on the 301 with epubs and AdobeViewer (not with FBReader); I didn't try pdfs:
The first and the last word of every paragraph is not selectable with the cursor (and the word I like to translate is nearly always the first or the last one ) . This happens with firmware 15.1 and 15.2 and I think also with 14.2.
