After I just posted how awesome Amazon is, I had a 30 minute conversation with two Kindle specialists who claimed that it is absolutley and utterly impossible to delete content permanently. I am beyond aggravated.
I know there have been discussions about it in the past, so my question is:
Has anynone ever successfully permanently deleted any items from their cloud library?
I have 344 French (free) classics in my trashcan that I am trying to get rid of. I deleted them one by one in the beginning, which, as you can all imagine, took hours.
Then I found a link to the
YourMediaLibrary in one of the older threads (thank you to the poster), and I could select them all and delete them all in bulk! Alas,
they are all still in the trashcan. There is a button to permanently remove items from the trashcan, but when I click it! I get this message:
Quote:
Amazon MP3s, Amazon Shorts and other digital items cannot be deleted from Your Media Library in case you want to re-download your purchases.

Why does it bother me in the trashcan, you ask? When I do a search in my media library, I cannot filter out the trashcan.
