Oh, really? I don't have duokan installed, so I have no chance to compare
But at least it beats the native reader in my kindle
HW saids there is room for optimization making use the fact that kindle only needs grayscale output. But seems that nobody has time to look into that recently.

I just added a demo for 90 degree rotation.
But it needs more clean up I guess.
