Android devices are very versatile. Almost all eReaders out there for the Android support highlighting and note taking. You can use the official Kindle for Android app by Amazon. There are a multitude of readers for the Android devices that you can try.

Moon+ Reader allows you to change the background images like Stanza does. I'm not sure about the font color changing, but it might be supported.
