Just be sure that when you insert the K3 into the lighted case, you swing it in from the right to the left pivoting about the lower tab. There's a YouTube video that shows the process. Very simple and easy to do. When done properly, there should *not* be any gold plating of the lower tab visible at all. If it is visible, you need to install it again.
