I'm having the same problem with my Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.
First I couldn't get covers to display at all until Kovid advised me to check the "Enable sharing of book content etc" in the Mobi output section of Calibre.
From then on I could see my covers in Kindle.
Now I have the problem that covers appear TWICE!!
I tried deleting one of the two, but that simply deletes both!
It seems to be only when a book is part-read that the second cover appears - when the book is first copied to the device I have only one cover - also, books that I haven't opened only have one cover!!
Any ideas anyone?
