Goal : Read 30,000 pages

My Main Goal is to read 30,000 pages spread over what ever number of books it takes to get there.

My Secondary Goal, which I am hopeing will give me a more focused TBR pile, is to include 52 different books that have been used as the inspiration for film or television. I might also include Autobiographies of those involved in film or television ....... because its hard to resist a preachy, rags to riches, look how I overcame, ghost written, C list Celebrity cash in.

01 - The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - Douglas Adams - 216 pages (1981 TV series, 2005 film)
02 - The Postman - David Brin - 321 pages (1997 film)

12 - The Bourne Supremacy - Robert Ludlum - 646 pages (2004 film) (12/52)

I might have to revise my target for this year, I've got a new position at work, and my free time has dried up, as that was where the bulk of my reading time came from I don't know if I will finish anywhere close to 30,000 pages. I've also been reading more Graphic Novels and Comics so........New Target! and I will upgrade my secondary goal to the Big League. I aim to read 52 books this year that have been used as the basis for Movies or TV. The observant among you may have noticed that is what I have been doing so far this year, and I have been doing it alphabetically by Author. We shall see how long I can keep that up.

And that's 52 books related to film and television, and extra 10 because I needed to read something different, and I've also read 36 Graphic Novels this year, most featuring characters who have appeared in films over the years. Goodreads says I've read 100 books this year, I don't know where the other 2 books have come from, I must have forgotten to list a couple? and that's about 26,000 pages. Overall I am happy with 2013's list.
