I just tried to connect to the chat widget, but got a Firefox warning in the chat frame:

irc.mr.gd uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate expired on 13/07/13 2:54 PM. The current time is 15/07/13 9:11 AM.
(Error code: sec_error_expired_certificate)

Curiously enough, while such warnings usually have an override option, this one didn't.
