Usually the opposite with me...once I start down the 'discovery' trail via hyperlink, I'll find two or three other links open and soon I'm researching very interesting articles, terms, maps, etc. that had NOTHING to do with the first link I launched to 'discover' some linked idea. I can spend as long following interesting rabbit trails as walking down the published road.
