What version firmware does your iLiad have and did you enable the 'shell access' ?

My thing is this : I'm thinking of getting a second hand iLiad but since it is now impossible to get the "Shell access" from Irex and it is possibly even impossible to upgrade the firmware I'm just considering the option of buying one with a good screen but no shell access and one with a broken screen like yours so in the end I have a good one that can do everything I want.

Is it a Version 1 or Version 2 Iliad ?
