I got the Kindle DX as a gift from my relative, who is living in US. (I am living for now in Germany.)
For a while i had a happy time.
I put my pdf file in my DX. I read books everyday with this gadget.
But today morning i have suddenly realized my kindle's screen broken.
In the middle of screen there is several white lines, that was partly fulled with Amzon's cover-picture, but other part of screen was blacked out, therefore i could hardly see anything.
I made my DX several times into factory default, but it didn't work.
Honestly i carried my kindle very carefully, i covered it with normal file in the stationery. Of course I didn't drop my kindle. I couldn't even find any scratch on the surface of the screen.
I am very disappointed with this situation. Have you ever got the same problems?
Do you think, if Amazon charge on me additional repair-fee?
and is it possible, that i get the A/S with non-US address?
