Whenever I try to download metadata, Google Books comes through just fine, but I get an error from isbndb:

Warning:Could not fetch metadata from:
IsbnDB: 'unicode' object has no attribute 'string'

I'm running Calibre 0.7.22 on Kubuntu 10.04, and I've validated both my access key and that the book is in isbndb.
