Over the past couple of weeks I've gotten a lot of help from this forum so to say thanks here are 201 screensaver pictures. Their 600x800 16 color gifs. They only take up about 12MB in all. Some mite have "naughty" words or themes so skim over them if that's a concern to you. If you need help putting them on you device goto step 4 of the PhotoShop guide (hack need for custom screensavers).
PhotoShop Guide
Perquisites
You Need PhotoShop (duh)
You must have a jailbroken kindle
You need to have screensaver hack installed
Guide for both
here.
Step 0
Make New Image. Ctrl + N or File>New. Wifi and G3 Kindles are 600x800 DXs are 824 x 1200 (for Gen 3 not sure about older Kindles)
Step 1
Add image to canvas. Drag or copy paste or import it. Then Re-size to fit it how you would like it. Ctrl + t
Step 2 *Optional
If you want to mess with the image to make it your own now is the time.
Before the image is exported, it should be tweaked for grayscale. Images with color can get away with out having a lot of contrast in its values. To fix this, make a Posteriz and a Black and White or Hue/Satration adjustment layer. Set the posteriz layer levels to 15 if you have a kindle 2 or 16 for a kindle 3. The black and white layer can also be adjusted to your liking. If you used a Hue/Saturation layer (only if your using CS2 or lower) the set saturation to -100.
With the main image layer selected Hit Ctrl + l to open up the levels window (you can alturativly make a levels ajusment layer). Theres no one setting garented to give you good resultes but a good rule of tumb for the levels window is to move the outer arrows to the edge of the graph and move the middle arrow to where it looks right. (can someone say run-on sentance)
After the changes have been made turn off visibility or delete the postrize and the black and white or Hue/sat layers. (If you used the BLK and WHT layer to change the image keep it on)
Step 3
Save your image via "web save" Ctrl + Alt + Shift + S (win) or file>Save for web devices.
1. Set Output to gif.
2. Open drop down menu goto "Load Color Table" Use ether
Kindle 2 (Add by clarknova) or
Kindle 3 Color Table.
3. Set Dither to Diffusion and adjust the amount of dither to your liking.
4. Save
Step 4
Drag and drop images in to KindleDrive:\linkss\screensavers
Step 5
Reset Kindle. On Kindle goto home>menu>settings>menu>restart
Thats it! If your make you own Share them!!!!!
Enjoy!
