Many people seem to be confused about the "touchscreen" on the DR. The DR uses Wacom's
active touchscreen, which means you can only activate it using a special Wacom stylus (shipped with the DR). It will not "accidentally" activate when you touch the screen with your fingers etc. In fact, apart from the minor savings in battery (if any), there is no need to turn off the stylus function; just leave the stylus in its cradle
