So many people today take copyright for granted that they forget it was created
for the public good and not the benefit of the creators. Already today with ridiculous copyright terms the public cannot use the works created by the authors for a long time after their death, and DRM further removes the possibility of them ever getting into public domain, where they rightfully belong.
