Just a thought, but I think you might be pleasantly suprised in that the iphone has apparently inspired some of the smart phones to have larger screens. The HTC TouchHD that was announced recently is going to have, IIRC, a 3.5" 640X480 screen. Of course you are kind of stuck with windows mobile.. but hey, no phone is perfect.
