a) No, you cannot write your own note. You only can select section of text and name it using virtual keyboard. Workaround, you coul place short note to name.
b) Yes, virtual keyboard supports Polish characters. I guess all of them.
c) The selected text is printed in inverse mode - white on black.
d) No. At least there is not straitforward way to do it.

Maybe in future releases of firmware, but I wouldn't rely on it. It might come, or not.... Nobody, knows.

I prefer annotation by scrible notes. Alike as if I read the paper with a pensil in a hand...
