Stanza ist nur eine Lesesoftware, mit der sich eBooks in unterschiedlichen Formaten lesen lassen, darunter auch ePub. Sie bietet "von Haus aus" bereits mehrere Links zu Online-Shops und -Archiven.

Wie beam schon sagt, bist du mit ihnen nicht an Apple gebunden, kannst die eBooks aber problemlos über das iPhone/den iPod Touch einkaufen.

Die textunes eBooks sind Apps, die nur auf dem iPhone/iPod Touch laufen.
