If you expect to upgrade the Kindle Fire HD annually, buy as few accessories as possible. They will all be obsolete in less than one year.

I've purchased Amazon the recommended cover, charger and glare protection screen. The sound is supposed to be impressive on the Fire HD so separate amplfiers are now unnecessary.
