This sounds like BS, considering how far away color eink is. It appears the Barnes and Noble color eink reader rumor was false:

Even if they had color eink, displaying video would be orders of magnitude farther down the road. There isn't a black and white or grey eink display that has a fast enough refresh rate to display video.
