Here an example of how commercial people can ruin a good slogan:

We had a campaign to get more people to drink milk.

The old slogan was;

Milk, the white motor.

Short, fast, and sounds good.

But, somebody decided that slogan was outdated (why???) and thought of a new one:

Milk, the greatest discovery of the mouth.

The long and short of it, they scrapped all the new commercials and the slogan is now once again "Milk, the white motor".
