But you're talking about your own writing. If paper works better for you, fine. When the editor is working on paper, it means someone else has to input all the changes, and that someone is probably going to be an editorial assistant or a freelancer, who can easily miss changes, or misinterpret handwriting. And the person inputting the edits is also an extra cost, versus the editor just doing it on the computer screen in the first place.

Computer editing is much easier and more efficient.
