Amazon is in the enviable position of not having to make (much) money on ANYTHING. Since there is basically no one who can match their size and infrastructure, Wall Street is happy to keep throwing money their way. They can just keep expanding into new businesses while making small profits. Web service? Publishing? VOD? Original programming? Grocery delivery? What can't they do?
