You know, many apps even today embed the Safari browser's window inside them, and when the user is done using the Safari window, they can just tap the button "Done" in the top right corner, and they're right back inside the original app. Needless to say, it's easier to perform a single tap in the top right corner of the screen, instead of a 4-finger swipe gesture for every word you look up.
