Hi Laisvunas,

thanks for your posting.

I think Richard gave already the answer (in his comment) why it doesn't make sense to make a joint project: "We are a company with certain objectives and have both front and back-end content delivery and fulfilment technology." So they have a completely different focus, their reader is just a add-on to the services they offer.

Btw., Azardi II won't be open source as you can read in his initial posting: "And finally, Azardi II will be free, but not open source."
