Agreed. While most periodicals have yet to get the pricing correct for electronic versions of their magazines, some are reasonably priced.

Time and Newsweek give you free content on your iPad if you are a subscriber to the print magazine. Otherwise, Newsweek is $30/year for iPad subscription. Time is $4.99/month. National Geographic is $20/year.

Newsweek and National Geographic are fairly well priced for the iPad only version. Time is a bit pricey, but free if you are a print subscriber.
