Controlling Hyphenation on NookColor

Does anyone know how to disable hyphens on the NookColor?
I've already tried the following CSS, but none of this works:

hyphens: none;
-webkit-hyphens: none;
-epub-hyphens: none;

Any other ideas of how to disable hyphenation selectively, say on just h1 tags, etc?

Thanks in advance,
Dan
