I feel your pain. Have you thought/tried side-loading all your content to a SD card? I repeatedly suffered through this numerous times (old-dog-new-tricks?) with my Nook Color. For some reason a flash of inspiration struck me when I got my HD and I'm a happier person for it. All my non-B&N content is on my SD card.

Now, most of my side-loaded content comes from Gutenberg/Mobileread so I do not have a DRM problem, nor do I check-out ebooks from the library. I don't think Baen uses DRM either. Be it far from me to tell/recommend to anyone to break any laws, but using non-DRM'd material on B&N, Amazon, etc... devices is much simpler than dancing with ADE's DRM.
