Yes, but as far as I'm aware, this does make a difference on the iPad. Also, screen
brightness may be treated differently by various apps on the same iPad. Some e-reader apps will truly help extend the iPad's battery life by the way they treat screen brightness adjustments, while other apps may not. That's why such charts and stats rarely correspond to real-life experience, and are very unreliable.
