Leverage, Henry: The Gray Brotherhood. v1. 26 May 07

The Gray Brotherhood by Henry Leverage was first published in the pulp mag "The Blue Book Magazine" in 1920.

"A man gets off the boat in New York harbor, takes a taxi to his Manhattan hotel, but instead shows up dead on top of a freight car in Poughkeepsie. It's up to Chester Fay to solve this ticklish problem which touches on issues of international diplomacy. Entertaining and a fantastic conclusion."

Interesting (ok, maybe not so interesting) note: when I was doing research for the cover, I had to look up pistols circa 1920. I actually didn't know they looked so modern. For some reason, I just thought 1920 pistols would look "old," but they pretty much look the same as today. So even though the cover looks very modern, it's all 1920's.

Enjoy!
