Yaay! What a really nice update to 0.8.44.
Only just received the update notice. Wonderful improvements!

Thanks Kovid for the terrific update. Seems to have been made just for bumble fingered me and my merging books problem.

Nice move to put shortcuts to options where they will be most useful and evident and the popup warning when merging will be a boon.
