If it does, it will take a software update to support it. If you try to do audio, it asks you to connect a Bluetooth audio device (I have a USB-C audio adapter and headset plugged in, which works on my iPad mini and Fire HD8).

It would be a nice ‘bonus’ if they would add this. But while 7th generation Kindles supported USB audio out, later ones only support Bluetooth.
