But again, that doesn't mean that you could do it on the Surface RT, or that if you did, you would have any other way to restore the Tablet. (With no DVD drive to insert recovery media.)
We know that the recovery partition takes up 5GB. We don't know that that 5GB can be reclaimed, and we don't know it could be done safely.
