Having another attack of GAS
(gadget anticipation syndrome). Four and a half weeks ago, when I returned my tablet to the store because of dead pixels, they told me they expected a new shipment on February 10 and that in the days after the stores would receive the tablets. Two weeks ago I emailed them to ask if they were still expecting the tablets on the 10th and they confirmed.
However, last week the expected delivery status on the website went from 4-10 days to 10 or more days. I hope it's because a lot of people ordered that tablet and it's sold out before they even get the shipment and not because Asus has delayed the shipment.
If the central warehouse got the tablets last week I expect my local store to get them today. Hopefully I get a phone call today that I can pick it up, but I'm not getting my hopes up. If I don't get a call today I'll email the main office tonight or tomorrow.
