Watching the Celtic v Juventus football match on TV. Apart from my constant swearing at the referee (if I don't tell him, how will he know he's wrong?), something at half time made me even crosser.

During the obligatory camera pan across the crowd, we saw Rod Stewart and Billy Connolley. Cue the commentator saying something like, "Big fans of Celtic and big fans of Scotland. True patriots." Yeah, right. So 'patriotic' that as soon as they got a bit of money behind them they both buggered off to live on the other side of the world. Both of them, and Sean Connery too, have also liked to have their say on Scottish independence. If you can't even bear to live in the country that you profess to love, please excuse me if I take your 'heartfelt' opinions as the empty posturing they are.
