I have been there for a moment of silence, although I can't recall the purpose of the remembrance. We were forewarned that a siren would sound, and we should stop all work and be quiet. It was very eerie!
I was also there one time when there was a bombing north of the city, a shopping plaza I think. They were very sensitive to tell us what had happened and how far it was from our hotel.
